When attending a motorcycle or moped training course with Bike2Bike Ltd then please remember the following:
Cancellation
Should you wish to cancel or change the date of your reservation we require the following notice, either:
in writing to; Bike2Bike Ltd, Waterside Park, Crookham Road, Thatcham. RG19 4PA
By Email to; train@bike2bike.co.uk
Notice Period;
Mod 1&2 motorcycle training & tests – 14 days notice.
CBT – 14 days notice.
All other training courses – 14 days notice.
The 14 days notice period does not include the day of cancellation or the original reservation date.
NB: In the event that a course is cancelled in adequate time and a refund is due then a £30.00 administration fee will be charged per person and deducted from the refund. If a course is re scheduled in adequate time and no refund is required then a £30.00 administration fee will be charged per person for this and any subsequent changes.
If the above notice period is not given then a full loss of course fee will be incurred even if on the date of the reservation there is already insufficient notice time, i.e. less that 14 days. Please note that once any part of a course is started, including a CBT, then no refund will be given. Where a course is made up of a number of separate days, once any part has been started, i.e. CBT then no refund will be given for the whole course booked. For example, if you have booked a package including CBT, Mod 1 and/or Mod 2 then once you have started the first training day there is no refund for any subsequent part of the course.
NB: The CBT is the starting point for all trainee motorcyclists and you have booked and paid for a 1 day training course. Where this is taken and the student does not achieve the required standard in order to be safe to progress onto the road ride phase during that day, then an additional course will need to be booked and paid for in order to continue. The instructor will continually evaluate your progress during your training and may if necessary decide to change the type of machine that you are training on in order to give you the best chance of reaching the standard required to complete the course, i.e. geared to automatic. If students progress onto the road ride phase and during which at anytime their riding is deemed to be unsafe then the ride may be terminated and at that point the training day will end.
Covid 19 – If you are requested to self isolate due to contracting or being in contact with someone that has contracted Covid 19 then unless the required cancellation notice period has been given then a loss of course fee will be incurred. However, if you can provide images of a positive Covid 19 Lateral Flow test, which need to be registered on the Gov.uk website, in addition to a positive PCR test (where appropriate) then we will re schedule your course. However, in these circumstances a £30.00 administration fee will be charged per person.
All training courses must be completed within 3 months of payment or any outstanding training and any test and fees will be lost. All training, tests and fees are non transferable.
